West Midlands football seems to be enjoying a bit of a renaissance right now with Wolves and Birmingham picking up where West Brom left off at the top of the Championship.
There's a direct link between West Brom last season and Wolves this year as Mick McCarthy wants his team to play in an attractive and expansive manner. He's realised that if they'd scored just two more goals last season they'd have finished above Crystal Palace in that sixth play-off spot.
